National Honorary Theatre Fraternity

Alpha Psi Omega, the National Theater Honorary Dramatic Fraternity, is the largest Greek letter organization in the world. With over 600 chapters worldwide, the ideals still continue to flourish after nearly 76 years of its existence.
The Greek Letter Fraternity System plays a tremendous part in college life today. Alpha Psi Omega is one of the finest honorary fraternities, for it was Ancient Greece that drama became a definite part of art and culture in the civilized world.
The Delta Phi cast at Slippery Rock University was chartered in 1933, since then its numerous accomplishments have far exceeded the expectations of founder Paul Opp. For example, the Delta Phi cast has raised money for Scleroderma Research, the Butler County Humane Society, and the Butler County Woman's Shelter. The Delta Phi cast has also produced many studio shows, as well as its annual awards ceremony, the Emmas.
Alpha Psi Omega, here at Slippery Rock, is a growing family of those who enjoy theater. We would like to thank everyone who has been a part of, and supported Alpha Psi Omega the past 76 years. We hope to continue to learn more about our heritage and those who will come after us.
Brother to Brother, By and By
Now and Forever, Alpha Psi
